A look at the damage to the city of Kued, hit by the strongest flood in 100 years.


Water from the Mae Taeng River that overflowed into Kuet Chang Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, which is both an elephant sanctuary and an important tourist attraction in Chiang Mai, 5 days ago, the force of the water current caused widespread damage. Houses, restaurants, and a small elephant camp along the river were completely swept away by the current. Locals said that this was the most severe flood in 100 years .
