Central Pattana Unveils ‘Green Growth’ Initiative with Electric Food Trucks


Bangkok: Central Pattana Public Company Limited announced the establishment of ‘Central Pattana Green Growth’ to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a tangible way, and to join forces with all sectors to build on the success of the ‘Better Futures Projects’ project in Year 4, highlighting the activity ‘Electric Food Trucks in an Eco-Friendly Style’, adjusting the concept to reduce carbon from organizing events and travel.



According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Naparat Sriwanwit, Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director, Finance and Accounting Group, and Hotel and Office Business Group, Central Pattana Plc., stated that alongside committing over 120,000 million baht investment in the next five years (2025-2029), Central Pattana focuses on societal and environmental development through the ‘The Ecosystem for All’ model. This includes the launch of ‘Central Pattana Green Growth’ to drive Decarbonization and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The initial phase involves installing Solar Rooftop systems to produce over 35 megawatts of clean electricity for various projects and exploring new technologies for energy and environmental management.



Ms. Uthaiwan Anuchitanukul, Assistant Managing Director, Excellence and Sustainable Development Department, Central Pattana Public Company Limited, shared that the first concept this year features the (RE) Lifestyle Roadshow. The event, titled ‘Central Pattana, Love the World | Love the Community’, is set to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle and community support through activities. The event will take place during May 19-21, 2025, at the Groove, Central World shopping center’s front yard. The highlight, ‘Electric Food Trucks in an Eco-Friendly Style’, will tour across Thailand, including locations such as Central Chiang Mai Airport, Central Nakhon Sawan, Central Korat, Central Chanthaburi, and Central Krabi, in collaboration with numerous public and private sector partners.
