Deliverly Merchants Benefit from Fee-Free Direct Transfers to Tung Ngern App

Bangkok: Deliverly merchants can now transfer money directly to the Tung Ngern app without incurring any fees. Deliverly merchants will benefit from the government’s “Half-Half Plus” program, with funds transferred directly to their Tung Ngern app, ensuring no deductions are made for fees.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Lalida Periswiwattana, Deputy Government Spokesperson, addressed concerns from food vendors participating in the Half-Half Plus program. These vendors, linked to various food delivery apps, have been worried about receiving government funding. Ms. Lalida assured them that they will receive the government’s contribution directly through the Tung Ngern app, eliminating any deductions for GP (fee deducted by food delivery apps) and ensuring payment by the next business day.

“Due to this issue, we have received information from food vendors, who are still concerned. Today, we are providing information to all vendors to ease their concerns and ensure they are prepared and able to serve their
customers with peace of mind,” Ms. Lalida reiterated.

The Deputy Government Spokesperson provided an example to clarify the process. For instance, in a 300 baht food order via a food delivery app at Restaurant A, the orderer pays only 150 baht. The merchant receives the amount from the food delivery app after deducting the GP fee. The government’s contribution of the remaining 150 baht will be credited directly to the merchant’s Tung Ngern app account the following business day, with no additional fees.
