GPSC visits DOOSAN: prepares investment study plan for SMR, studies carbon-free energy solutions to increase power plant efficiency.



Bangkok: Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) announced that recently, Mr. Supoj Techawarasinskul, Chairman of the Board, led the board of directors and executives to visit Doosan Enerbility Company Limited or Doosan, an energy specialist in the Republic of Korea, to follow up on the progress of the study project to develop the use of ammonia fuel and carbon-free energy solutions, and the production process of Core Reactor parts of SMR technology. Currently, Doosan is one of the world’s leading companies and a leading SMR foundry in the world. They exchanged knowledge about SMR technology to expand the results and plan appropriate business strategies in order to move towards clean energy that is environmentally friendly and achieve the Net Zero Emissions target by 2060.



According to Thai News Agency, GPSC’s visit to Doosan Enerbility aimed at exploring investment opportunities and developing strategies that align with global clean energy trends. The collaboration focuses on Small Modular Reactors (SMR) technology, which is considered a pivotal element in reducing carbon emissions. By leveraging Doosan’s expertise, GPSC intends to enhance the efficiency of its power plants while contributing to global efforts to combat climate change. The company’s commitment to reaching Net Zero Emissions by 2060 underscores its dedication to sustainable energy solutions.
