Huachiew Chinese Medicine Clinic joins hands with 5 Chinese Medicine Institutes to use AI to diagnose diseases.


Pichai’ is delighted that Huachiew Chinese Medicine Clinic-Huachiew University has joined hands with 5 leading Chinese medicine institutes to launch AI innovation for disease diagnosis, fostering medical-trade-investment relations between Thailand and China.

Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, delivered a congratulatory speech at the opening ceremony of ‘The 2nd Huaqiao Chinese Medicine Clinic: Unceasing Development’, attended by Mr. Wu Zhiwu, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Thailand, Dr. Wichian Techapaiboon, Chairman of the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, Mr. Aran Iamsuri, Director of the Huaqiao Chinese Medicine Clinic, executives of 5 Chinese Medicine Institutes of the People’s Republic of China, and representatives from government and private sectors at Samyan Mitrtown.

Mr. Pichai revealed that the Huaqiao Chinese Medicine Clinic is a medical facility that provides treatment services according to the science of Chinese medicine that has received international standards so that all
people can access treatment at a fair fee. It is not only a science that reflects the culture and wisdom that has been passed down for a long time in China, but it is also a valuable and unique Soft Power. The Huaqiao Chinese Medicine Clinic is a center of Chinese medicine and a center of herbs in the ASEAN region, helping to deepen international relations, driving the economy, trade, and international relations to be closer.

The Ministry of Commerce has given importance to promoting trade and investment from China. Thailand and China have always had good trade and investment relations. I have invited Chinese businessmen to invest in Thailand, especially in semiconductor and PCB products (electronic circuit boards), which will create many more jobs and help raise the income of Thais. In terms of tourism, in the first 7-8 months of this year, there have been 5 million Chinese tourists visiting Thailand. It is expected that by the end of this year, there will be 8 million, which is considered a major source of
income for Thailand.

Mr. Aran said that this event is to promote the success of Huaqiao Chinese Medicine Clinic, which has developed sustainable cooperation with 5 organizations from the People’s Republic of China: Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, Shanghai Longhua Hospital, Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine, Fujian University of Chinese Medicine, and Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, through the presentation of cutting-edge technologies and innovations, such as the AI ??smart examination mirror and the Xiaokang AI robot, which help create awareness of modern Chinese medicine and focus on presenting work, exchanging knowledge, and developing treatment techniques, as well as displaying new technologies in Chinese medicine to prove the continuous development of medicine, improving the quality of life and health of the people to be sustainable. The event also provides free Chinese medicine health check-ups throughout the event, from October 18-19 at Samyan Mitrtown.
