Bangkok: Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited, along with its subsidiaries, has introduced a series of relief measures to support customers impacted by the recent earthquake. These initiatives are aimed at providing financial relief to the bank’s loan customers, including those in the Krungsri Consumer Group, as well as individuals who have purchased property or fire insurance through the bank.
According to Thai News Agency, personal loan, home loan, and SME loan customers have two options for relief. The first method allows for a reduction in the installment amount to cover only the monthly interest payment for up to six months. The second option offers a suspension of principal payments, requiring only interest repayment for a maximum of three months. For small and medium-sized SME business loan customers, the suspension of principal payments can extend up to six months.
Krungsri Auto loan customers are provided with an extended term and reduced installments, not exceeding 40% of the original installment amount. For those in the Krungsri Consumer Group with credit card and loan obligations, the bank offers debt restructuring by reducing the monthly payment amount and extending the repayment period. It is important to note that customers who have already received the highest assistance through other measures are excluded from this offer.
Consideration for these relief measures will be conducted on a case-by-case basis, adhering to the criteria and conditions set by Bank of Ayudhya and the Krungsri Consumer Group. These measures are available from now until September 30, 2025.
