Chulalongkorn University organized the event ‘Chula invites the media to have afternoon tea’ on October 29, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Chula Naruemit House, organized by Chulalongkorn University’s Corporate Communications Center to strengthen good relations with the media. Prof. Dr. Wilert Phuriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, presided over the opening ceremony, along with university executives attending the eventIn addition, there is an exhibition ‘Chula Calendar’ in the event area, presenting various innovations of Chulalongkorn University that respond to the needs of society, including Thai music performances by students of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University, ‘Phettra Band’.

alongkorn University, welcomed the media and expressed his delight at welcoming the media. He spoke about the university’s management approach under the ‘Chula Power of Togetherness’ policy, which focuses on the growth of Chulalongkorn University in all dimensions, with students at the center. He also expressed his vision for driving Chulalongkorn University towards becoming an ‘AI University’ and an AI Hub for the ASEAN region. He emphasized Chulalongkorn University’s readiness with expert faculty in many fields, such as the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Economics. He also pushed for the establishment of the Chulalongkorn AI Institute to support the development of artificial intelligence that meets the needs of the digital society and prepare students to have skills and knowledge in AI.

sity Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), with the goal of creating cooperation among university presidents nationwide to develop higher education in Thailand and raise the standard of education in Thailand to international standards.
After the vision presentation, the president and executives of Chulalongkorn University discussed and exchanged opinions with the media about Chulalongkorn University’s policies and progress in various areas.
