Royal Kathina Ceremony Conducted by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited at Thewaratkuncharoen Worawihan Temple


Bangkok: His Majesty the King graciously bestowed the Kathin robes for the year 2025, as requested by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, represented by Mr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman of the Board. The robes were presented to the monks at Wat Thewarat Kunchorn Worawihan, located in the Wachiraphayaban Subdistrict, Dusit District, Bangkok, as part of an effort to preserve Buddhism and continue Thai traditions.



According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chief Executive Officer, presided over the royal Kathina robe offering ceremony. The event was attended by the board of directors, advisors, executives, employees, and distinguished guests from government and private agencies, as well as the faithful. Thai Beverage Public Company Limited made a donation of 1,000,000 baht, while the board of directors, advisors, executives, and employees of the company and its subsidiaries contributed an additional 560,766.99 baht. The general public donated 26,133 baht, and monks and novices contributed 58,500 baht.



On this occasion, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited also provided three scholarships for school maintenance, each worth 10,000 baht. The scholarships were awarded to Wat Thewarat Kunchorn School, the Faculty of Home Economics Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, and Suksanari Witthaya School. The total amount of merit-making from the Royal Kathina robe offering ceremony amounted to 1,675,399.99 baht, with devout attendees joining together to celebrate the merit.
