State Enterprise Labor Union of Thailand Commemorates 19th Anniversary with Youth Support Initiative

Bangkok: The State Enterprise Labor Union of Thailand (SOEUT) marked its 19th anniversary by organizing a public service event aimed at supporting the youth at the Pak Kret Boys’ Shelter. The event, chaired by Ms. Apsorn Kritsanasmit, was part of a broader effort to provide scholarships, essential items, and meals to the children and youth at the shelter.

According to Thai News Agency, the event was held in conjunction with the 19th anniversary celebrations of other significant organizations, including the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) and the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC). The NBTC also organized a public welfare activity to support the youth of Ban Pak Kret, underscoring a shared commitment to community and youth development.

The SOEUT is composed of 20 state enterprise labor unions, including prominent organizations such as PTT, Aeronautical Radio of Thailand, the Zoological Park Organization, the Government Housing Bank, the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority, Thailand Post, and the MCOT Public Company Limited Labor Union. As a legally registered labor organization, SOEUT aims to foster good relations with the government and other organizations, as well as with state enterprise administration and its members. It also provides assistance in addressing member complaints, reflecting its commitment to improving the welfare of its members and the broader community.
