Bangkok: The State Railway of Thailand has issued a clarification urging the public not to believe or share images and video clips circulating on social media that depict luxurious sleeper trains purportedly set to launch in 2025.
According to Thai News Agency, the video claims that the new sleeper trains, branded as SRT 2025, will be the most luxurious in Thailand, suggesting there will be no need for hotels. The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has confirmed that these claims are false and constitute fake news.
The SRT is appealing to the public for cooperation in not spreading unverified information. It advises individuals to rely on official channels of the State Railway of Thailand for accurate updates to avoid being misled by such fake news.
