Bangkok: Thai stocks closed up 5.97 points as the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) ended the day at 1,176.17 points, marking a 0.51% increase. The trading value was recorded at 39,062.44 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, the Thai stock market managed to close on a positive note despite experiencing some negative trends during the day. This recovery was largely attributed to the buying power seen in large stocks, specifically within the banking, communications, and electronic parts sectors. Additionally, the strengthening of the baht contributed to the positive close. Analysts forecast that the market may experience sideways fluctuations tomorrow, with resistance anticipated at 1,180-1,185 points and support at 1,165-1,170 points.
