The SEC has revised the criteria for supporting the trading of investment units of “Vayupak One Mutual Fund” for Asset Management Co., Ltd. Disclosure of NAV every business day – Notification of the Book Closing Date of not less than 5 working days, effective from 1 October 2024 onwards
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) The Company has revised the criteria for trading investment units of mutual funds and Vayupak One Fund (VAYU1) to be appropriate and beneficial to investors by updating the NAV disclosure period and Book Closing Date / Record Date, as well as updating the short-selling price criteria for VAYU1’s Market Maker and the tick size for VAYU1 trading effective from October 1, 2024 onwards. As follows
:1) Improve the information disclosure period of mutual funds to be appropriate and consistent with the characteristics of mutual funds so that investors have sufficient
information to support investment decisions.1.1 Improve for Asset Management Co., Ltd. Disclosure of Net Asset Value (NAV) Every
business
day1.2 Updating the notification of the Book Closing Date or Record Date, including the notification of the change of the vesting date to the unitholders of the mutual fund. Not less than 5 working days before the grant
date
2) Revised the criteria for trading VAYU1 investment units so that investors can trade at a reasonable price and in line with the price of the underlying
securities.2.1 To allow VAYU1’s registered market makers to short VAYU1 without restriction on the short selling price to support the effective liquidity management function that allows investors to trade VAYU1 at a price consistent with the underlying
securities.2.2 Adjust the tick size for VAYU1 trading to be the same step as stocks, for example, the bid price is 10 baht but less than 25 baht, there is a tick size of 0.10 baht, and the bid price is 25 baht but less than 100 baht, there is a tick size of 0.25 baht, etc
