TAT holds a general meeting to determine the 2024 Thai tourism action plan, emphasizing that the tourism sector remains an important engine of the country in driving the economy. Confident that next year tourism will recover as much as before the COVID incident
Mr. Choti Trachoo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), presided over the opening meeting for the integration of action plans. Tourism of the Year 2024 or TATAP 2024 of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for use as a framework for operations and in the same direction in industrial marketing. The whole system of Thai tourism with Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and executives at all levels and directors of the TAT Office from all regions around the world attended the meeting from July 11-13, 2023 at the Grande Center Point Space Hotel, Pattaya.
Mr. Yuthasak revealed that the TATAP 2024 meeting was a meeting to integrate plans to drive future work in the years 66-70, including reviewing the plan to be in line with the current tourism situation. and in accordance with the direction of the government leading to a clear, good plan From now on, there will be a summary of the results of the meeting. and announce an action plan Tourism for the year 2024 on July 17, so that all stakeholders in the tourism sector know the direction to walk together
For determining the tourism plan of the TAT in the year ’66 is considered very special. It consists of 3 factors together, namely:
1. It is a joint transmitted through the work to Miss Thapanee Kiatphaiboon, TAT deputy governor who will become the new TAT governor.
2. Challenges in using the tourism sector as a recovery engine. And drive the economy of the country
and 3. Budget delays, which TAT must ensure that all sectors are confident that TAT is ready to work in all aspects.
The TAT remains confident that in the year 2017, the tourism sector will be able to return to generate income as set as the target of more than 3 trillion baht, as in 2019, during the events before the COVID situation for sure.
