Thai Stock Market Dips Amid Global Economic Concerns

Bangkok: Thai stocks closed the morning session down 2.60 points. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) finished the morning at 1,285.66 points, marking a decline of 2.60 points, or 0.20%, with a trading value of approximately 17.122 billion baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the fluctuation in the Thai stock market this morning followed the trend of foreign markets. Analysts highlighted that, despite better-than-expected US Q2 2025 GDP figures, concerns over a potential delay in the US interest rate cut have emerged. This uncertainty has contributed to the downward pressure on the market.

Additionally, selling pressure on DELTA shares has further impacted the index. The Thai stock market is anticipated to trade sideways in the afternoon session, with resistance expected at 1,290 points and support at 1,270 points.
