Ratchada Takes On New Role with Anutin Government, Remains Tied to Democrat Party

Bangkok: Ratchada Thanadirek has announced her new role as Assistant Minister to the Minister of the Prime Minister's Office under the Anutin government, while maintaining ties with the Democrat Party.

According to Thai News Agency, Ratchada shared on her Facebook page a photograph featuring herself with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Mr. Paradorn Prisananantakul, and Ms. Traisulee Traisaranakul. On her first day, she expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister for trusting her with this position amidst the country's challenges. Ratchada has long aspired to contribute positively to society and seized this opportunity without hesitation.

Ratchada thanked Ms. Traisulee, the Secretary to the Prime Minister, for her confidence and invitation to collaborate. She also expressed appreciation for Mr. Paradorn's recognition of her skills and experience, assigning her crucial tasks that demand a proactive approach within a limited timeframe.

In discussing her political future, Ratchada mentioned her move to the Bhumjaithai Party, where she intends to focus on social issues and women's empowerment, particularly in the southern border provinces. Her experience in addressing these issues dates back to her tenure under General Prayut Chan-o-cha's government, where she served as the government's special representative for resolving challenges in the region. She emphasized that the Bhumjaithai Party includes dedicated individuals sharing her commitment to these causes.
