Phatthalung: "Thamphet" joins "Thammanat" in Phatthalung, promising a brighter future for local governance. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, along with Education Minister Narumon Pinyosinwat and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Amin Mayuso, made an official visit to Phatthalung College of Agriculture and Technology. They were greeted by Supacharee Thammapetch, Democrat Party MP for Phatthalung, and Nitisak Thammapetch.
According to Thai News Agency, Lt. Col. Thammanat evaluated the Lam Bet Canal floodgate project and engaged with local farmers. He gathered insights from Mr. Tharawut Chuaykerd, Deputy Governor and Acting Governor of Phatthalung Province, and received a briefing from Mr. Det Lekwichai, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Irrigation Department. During his visit, Lt. Col. Thammanat distributed 100 agricultural land title deeds along with essential farming resources such as vegetable seeds, animal medicines, chicken eggs, and fish seedlings to support local farmers.
Lt. Col. Thammanat expressed gratitude towards the Thammapetch family for their warm reception. He emphasized his commitment to his political role, despite rumors about his resignation as Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives. He assured the public of his dedication to Thailand's development and highlighted the importance of having politicians who prioritize the people's welfare.
He further acknowledged the potential of Supacharee Thammapetch, MP for Phatthalung, labeling her as a promising figure in Parliament. He expressed support for her potential future role as a minister, citing the importance of having representatives who actively address constituents' concerns.
