Fix It Center Fully Operational as Education Minister Visits Hat Yai to Aid Flood Recovery

Hat yai: Fix It Center is at full strength as Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Education, alongside Mr. Suthep Kaengsanthia, Permanent Secretary, spearheaded a delegation from various educational agencies to Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. Their mission was to assess the readiness of the Fix It Center, which offers repair services for electrical appliances, occupational equipment, machinery, and motorcycles damaged by recent flooding.

According to Thai News Agency, Prof. Dr. Narumon emphasized the Ministry of Education's commitment to dispatching additional personnel and resources if necessary. The ministry is dedicated to ensuring effective flood recovery and meeting the needs of the local community. The Minister also urged the public not to test submerged electrical appliances by plugging them in, as this could cause irreparable damage. Instead, vocational students are available to inspect and repair these items.

In Songkhla Province, a total of 50 Fix It Centers have been established to support residents during this challenging time. Teachers and vocational students are working diligently to provide repair services. The Minister has instructed each center to expedite operations efficiently and safely, allowing residents to resume their daily activities and livelihoods as soon as possible.
