Bangkok: Mum Lakonics saw a doctor for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy to prepare her body for a future kidney transplant. After a critical period of serious illness, including kidney failure, pulmonary edema, and a hepatitis C infection in the bloodstream, she was admitted to the ICU for nearly a month before her condition gradually improved and she was able to resume her life.
According to Thai News Agency, the popular singer is currently undergoing periodic hospitalizations. Most recently, Mum underwent a gastroscopy and intestinal biopsy as part of the preparation for the anticipated kidney transplant.
