Bangkok: In an exciting development for sports enthusiasts, fans of the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) can now enjoy watching four popular sports without any admission fee and registration requirement.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Kongsak Yodmani, the Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), expressed satisfaction with the organization of the SEA Games and addressed issues that had previously hindered spectator attendance. To resolve the registration challenges that fans faced when trying to enter competition venues, the SAT has decided to provide free admission to initially four sports: football, athletics, sepak takraw, and volleyball.
Dr. Yodmani encouraged Thai citizens to support their athletes in these events, emphasizing the importance of cheering on the national team as they strive for medals in the region's premier sporting event. This initiative aims to enhance fan engagement and ensure that the SEA Games remain accessible to all.
