According to Thai News Agency, the Government Housing Bank (GHB) is promoting saving habits for Thai children under 15 years of age. Saving with a 'Save Savings' account offers a high interest rate of up to 1.65% per year for customers with a balance of no more than 200,000 baht. An initial deposit of 500 baht is required.
A special offer is available for those opening an account on Saturday, January 10, 2026: customers will receive a free cute silicone water bottle with a handle, limited to 500 sets and one per account, or while supplies last. Terms and conditions apply. Parents can easily help their children build a secure financial future with GHB, as deposits and withdrawals are unlimited. Interest is paid twice a year, on June 29th and December 29th.
