Yotchanan Unveils Ambitious “Thai People Without Poverty” Policy in Bangkok

Dateline: Bangkok: Yotchanan delivered a powerful speech, unveiling new policies for "Thai People Without Poverty," declaring war on all forms of poverty, including a 3,000 baht financial aid package, loans for businesses operating abroad, and an upgrade to the 30-baht healthcare scheme using AI. He emphasized that a complete overhaul of Thailand is achievable by the Pheu Thai party.

According to Thai News Agency, Yotsanu Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, took the stage at a large Pheu Thai Party rally titled "Overhauling the lives of Thai people, Pheu Thai can do it, vote for Pheu Thai for a landslide victory" at the City Hall Plaza, Bangkok. He assured the audience that the party stands by the people, drawing a parallel to the past when the Thai Rak Thai Party emerged during an economic crisis by listening to the people's voice.

Mr. Yotsanan highlighted the importance of democracy, questioning which political party would restore it to humanity. He advocated for the continuation and enhancement of the universal healthcare program and emphasized the need for policies that connect medical data and provide access to doctors anywhere, aiming to improve citizens' health and happiness.

He addressed perceptions of centralized power, referencing past initiatives like the Village Fund and SME Development Fund, and expressed a commitment to restoring community decision-making power and financial autonomy. Mr. Yotsanan identified current economic struggles, including debt and addiction, and called for a comprehensive overhaul of the nation's systems. Corruption and national security were identified as critical issues, with a commitment to addressing drug trafficking and illicit capital. A new policy was introduced to support low-income individuals, with a promise to eradicate poverty through financial support mechanisms.
