Anutin Appeals to Bangkok Voters, Criticizes Policy Attacks by Rivals

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has made a strong appeal to Bangkok voters, urging them to consider Bhumjaithai as the most popular choice. He expressed confidence in the party's position as a formidable contender, emphasizing the party's commitment to fielding a team of professionals to counter criticism against powerful political parties. Anutin criticized rivals who attack other parties' policies, advocating for a focus on building public trust in their own platforms instead. He highlighted that Bhumjaithai does not devalue any party, as cooperation in a coalition government would mean supporting the policies of all parties involved.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, also serving as the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, addressed the media following his initial rally in Bangkok. He stated that the election process is in full swing and emphasized his dedication to engaging with voters.

Anutin expressed optimism about securing seats in Bangkok, noting that while he remains confident, the ultimate decision lies with the voters. His role, he stated, is to build trust and ensure constituents that electing a Bhumjaithai candidate would lead to desired outcomes. Anutin mentioned that the party's recent three-month term has demonstrated the efficient and controversy-free implementation of their objectives.

When queried about the potential to win a district in Bangkok, Anutin expressed the party's aspiration to succeed in multiple districts, contingent on gaining public trust. He condemned policy attacks by rivals, arguing that such actions lack goodwill towards the populace. Bhumjaithai, he stated, refrains from criticizing others' policies, focusing instead on promoting their own.

Anutin elaborated on Bhumjaithai's four key policies targeting various threats, stating that the party is committed to employing professional personnel to reassure the public. He argued that even as a "big family" party, Bhumjaithai places the public's interest above influence and other factors.

Addressing questions on the party's organic campaign approach, Anutin praised its straightforwardness and alignment with national well-being, equating organic with national strength.

In his appeal to Bangkok residents, Anutin refrained from begging for support, instead humbly requesting that voters consider Bhumjaithai. He underscored the party's proven capability to work openly and respectfully across party lines, stressing the importance of unity among politicians as representatives of the people.
