Election Commission Chairman Observes Election Equipment Handover in Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram

Samut sakhon: The Chairman of the Election Commission observed the handover of election equipment for the Subdistrict Administrative Organization elections in Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Mr. Narong Klanwarin, Chairman of the Election Commission, traveled to these provinces to oversee the delivery of ballot papers and election materials, and to assess the preparation of polling stations for the election of Subdistrict Administrative Organization (SAO) council members and SAO mayors, which is scheduled for tomorrow.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Klanwarin observed the delivery of ballot papers and election materials at the Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, located in the Mueang Samut Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province. The election will involve the SAO mayors and council members in 8 constituencies, with one representative per constituency, totaling 8 representatives. There are 37 polling stations being prepared for the event. Mr. Klanwarin was welcomed by Mr. Pongphat Saichangthong, Director of the Election Commission for Samut Sakhon Province, and Police Colonel Ronnakorn Prakongsri, Deputy Commander of the Samut Sakhon Provincial Police.

Subsequently, the Chairman and his team traveled to the Bang Kaeo Subdistrict Administrative Organization in the Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province. The purpose of this visit was to ensure that all stages of the election management process were conducted in accordance with legal standards, maintaining honesty and fairness throughout.
