Treenuch Thianthong Leads PPRP MPs in Registration at Parliament

Bangkok: Treenuch Thianthong, the leader of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) and Minister of Labour, led her team of constituency MPs to register at the 27th House of Representatives, marking the formal commencement of their legislative duties.

According to Thai News Agency, a total of 44 members have officially registered. Ms. Treenuch, accompanied by five constituency MPs from the Palang Pracharath Party, completed the registration process amid a busy atmosphere at the Parliament building. The registration event saw participation from several political parties, including Bhumjaithai and Pheu Thai.

In an interesting turn of events, Ms. Treenuch and her team opted for a swift exit from a different route, avoiding the media who were keen to ask questions regarding "Ice" and "Nam"'s visit to the Ministry of Labour. This move came as reporters were also waiting to interview Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, MP for Bangkok, and Mr. Sahatsawat Khumkhong, MP for Chonburi, from the People's Party. Both MPs, along with the Progressive Social Security team, had gone to the Ministry of Labour to inquire about the results of a public hearing related to the Social Security Board election.
