SME D Bank Accelerates ‘D CEO Network’ Initiative to Boost SME Growth

Bangkok: SME D Bank continues to drive forward the 'D CEO Network' initiative, now in its fourth iteration, with the goal of empowering SME owners through technology upgrades, business network expansion, and facilitating access to funding exceeding 348 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pichit Mitrawong, Managing Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank), along with the bank's executives and partner organizations, celebrated with and awarded certificates to 117 SME entrepreneurs. These individuals, who are CEOs, owners, executives, or business heirs, successfully completed the 2026 'D CEO Network' program under the theme 'Soaring to New Horizons' (The Next Frontier). The program achieved its objectives by enhancing the business potential of its participants.

The event emphasized strategic planning, the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance business operations, and skill development in modern finance. It also focused on expanding into international markets and developing business models that align with ESG principles. A significant aspect of the program was fostering a robust business network among entrepreneurs and providing access to funding opportunities through SME D Bank, resulting in loan applications and investment opportunities for 27 businesses, totaling over 348 million baht. The event took place on February 27th at the Four Wings Hotel, Sukhumvit 26.

SME D Bank has consistently organized the 'D CEO Network' project, currently in its fourth year (2026). The project aims to prepare SME owners for technological advancements and global trends, while promoting network creation among SME owners. This initiative facilitates collaboration, business matching, and future business development. The project has received positive feedback and has been highly successful, as evidenced by the past three years (2023-2025), where 356 participants connected with funding opportunities totaling over 1.2 billion baht to upgrade and expand their businesses.
