Pheu Thai Party MPs Receive Election Certificates from Election Commission

Bangkok: Representatives from the Pheu Thai Party have received their certificates of election as Members of Parliament from the Election Commission.

According to Thai News Agency, the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) opened the final day for party-list MPs to collect their certificates. Representatives from the Pheu Thai Party and a representative of "Peerapanth" have already received their certificates, with three more remaining.

At the Election Commission office, MPs elected through both constituency and party-list systems from all parties were able to collect their election certificates. Based on the summary of those who collected their certificates yesterday, it was found that all 399 constituency MPs whose names had been certified by the Election Commission had received their certificates. Meanwhile, 15 party-list MPs have yet to collect their certificates: 11 from the Pheu Thai Party, and one each from the Bhumjaithai Party, Prachachart Party, Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, and Thai Ruam Palang Party.

This morning, representatives from the Pheu Thai Party's legal team received the certification letters for all 11 list MPs. They will leave the party headquarters at 12:00 PM to report to the Secretariat of the House of Representatives at 12:30 PM. Representatives of Mr. Peerapan Salirathavipak, a list MP and leader of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party, and Pol. Gen. Tawee Sodsong, an MP from the Prachachart Party, have also arrived to receive their letters.

Additionally, it has been reported that Mr. Wasawath Puangporn, a party-list MP from the Thai Ruam Palang Party, will arrive to receive his certificate in person at approximately 12:00 PM. Meanwhile, Mr. Krisada Leenawarat, an MP from the Bhumjaithai Party, has not yet arrived to collect his certificate.
