Kamphaeng saen: Metropolitan Police Division 6 raided a major drug stash in Kamphaeng Saen district, Nakhon Pathom province, seizing over 1.4 tons of narcotics and 1 million methamphetamine pills. Three suspects were arrested, all admitting to receiving 70,000 baht per trip for guarding and transporting the drugs.
According to Thai News Agency, the operation followed an investigation stemming from previous arrests of customers and subsequent surveillance that led to the discovery of this significant drug distribution point in the area.
Three suspects, aged 39, 35, and 29, were arrested on the evening of March 5th in front of an unnumbered house on Bang Len-Pathum Thani Road, Wang Nam Khiao Subdistrict, Kamphaeng Saen District, Nakhon Pathom Province. A formal press conference will be held today. Initially, all three admitted to receiving 70,000 baht per trip for guarding and transporting the stolen goods.
