Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has issued policy directives to the Ministry of Interior, urging senior officials to collaborate and utilize the Ministry's resources to address crises and alleviate public hardships. The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior emphasized the necessity of maintaining calm and avoiding interruptions during this process.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin chaired a high-level meeting aimed at propelling the Ministry of Interior's key missions forward. The meeting included the Ministry's executives, directors-general, agency heads, the Governor of Bangkok, and governors from provinces across the country. Newly appointed advisors, Mr. Sakda Wichiansilp and Mr. Chaiwat Chulathirapong, also participated following their recent Cabinet appointments.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the collective effort to advance the Ministry's mission in monitoring disaster and security situations, along with other national development aspects. He highlighted the Ministry of Interior's crucial role in implementing solutions at both regional and local levels, ensuring government policies lead to concrete outcomes.
During the policy briefing, Anutin spoke briefly before requesting the media and unrelated individuals to exit, stressing the importance of an interruption-free environment. He reiterated the urgency for all relevant agencies to adopt proactive measures swiftly to achieve visible results.
