Nitipol Phiwaemoh Resigns from People’s Democratic Party to Pursue Broader Public Service

Bangkok: Nitipol Phiwamoh has announced his resignation from the People's Democratic Party, a surprising move that underscores his commitment to continue serving the public in new capacities.

According to Thai News Agency, Nitipol Phiwaemoh, a prominent environmental advocate and former MP from the People's Party, disclosed his decision on Facebook. He shared, "Ladies and gentlemen, I have seriously reviewed my political path and decided that it is time to leave the People's Party because I believe I can do more for the people. I still respect the People's Party and all my colleagues I worked with since the Future Forward Party and the Move Forward Party. Therefore, I am resigning from my membership in the People's Party, effective today. From now on, I will continue my political work while open to cooperation from all sides."

Nitipol's departure marks a significant shift in the political landscape, as he has been a crucial figure within the party, especially known for his environmental advocacy. He began his political journey with the Future Forward Party, standing as a list candidate for the first time in 2019. Throughout his career, he has been a major force in the northern region, leveraging his platform to champion environmental issues.
