Anutin Backs Supajee Amid Criticism, Warns Detractors of Regret

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has stepped forward to defend Deputy Prime Minister Supajee Suthamphan, who has recently been under heavy criticism. Anutin expressed his confidence in Supajee's resilience, asserting that anyone who challenges her will ultimately face defeat.

According to Thai News Agency, the remarks came after Anutin and Supajee inspected products under the "Thai Helps Thai" initiative aimed at reducing living costs. During a light-hearted moment before an interview with the press, Anutin humorously suggested that Supajee should take him on a live stream to sell durians.

During the press conference, when asked about the criticism directed at Supajee, Anutin responded with a retort, highlighting that those criticized by Supajee find themselves in the spotlight. He noted that while Supajee may appear reserved, her words leave a strong impact.

Following the interview, Anutin received two bouquets of flowers from the public as a gesture of support, one of which he handed to Supajee. When questioned if the flowers were meant to encourage Supajee, Anutin stated there was no need for encouragement, but he advised critics to moderate their attacks, warning them against retaliation that could lead to regret.
