Bangkok: Sai Samut, also known as Sai Scott, has made a public appeal for justice as she met with Panthep Puapongsak, President of the Guardians of the Land Foundation, to seek legal advice regarding her childhood abuse and an ongoing family land dispute lawsuit.
According to Thai News Agency, Sai Samut arrived at Baan Phra Athit after reaching out to the Foundation for the Guardians of the Land. She claims she was abused by her older brother during her childhood and has been entangled in a lawsuit concerning a land dispute with her family. Upon her arrival, she was met with support from fans, and Mr. Panthep offered words of encouragement, assuring her that she is not alone and has the backing of the community and media.
Sai expressed her disappointment with the "Boonrod" statement, criticizing its lack of ethical leadership and justice for victims. She emphasized that her family's handling of the situation failed to support victims adequately and disagreed with the characterization of her experience as merely "domestic violence," asserting it as a broader issue. Sai also apologized on behalf of her family for not providing sufficient encouragement to victims, poignantly remarking that "Heroic Heart is just an advertising slogan."
Mr. Panthep highlighted the foundation's commitment to assisting Sai with legal matters, forensic examination, and expert advice. He sees Sai's case as a beacon for children and youth who may endure similar experiences and commended her bravery in speaking out. He pledged comprehensive support and encouraged other victims to step forward and claim justice.
Furthermore, Mr. Ekkarach Namphokin, a programmer affiliated with the foundation, has joined the rescue team to examine digital evidence such as audio recordings and Line chat messages. Mr. Ekkarach stated that audio recordings could serve as court evidence if their authenticity is verified. He noted that older files might be easier to trace but insisted that combining various forms of evidence would bolster the case. Mr. Ekkarach expressed confidence in the case's resolution, contingent on the complete verification of facts and evidence.
