Scotland Extends Steve Clarke’s Contract Until 2030

Edinburgh: Scotland have extended Steve Clarke's contract until 2030, marking a significant commitment to the national team's future. Steve Clarke, who took over as the manager in 2019, will now continue to lead the team through two upcoming World Cups and Euro 2028.

According to Thai News Agency, Clarke's tenure has already seen considerable achievements. Under his leadership, Scotland qualified for Euro 2020 and Euro 2024, breaking a long-standing absence from the tournament since Euro 1996. Clarke's impact also includes guiding the team to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, ending a 28-year hiatus since Scotland last participated in the World Cup in 1998.

This contract extension reflects Scotland's confidence in Clarke's ability to build on these successes and further elevate the national team's competitive stature on the international stage.
