Bangkok: Inter Milan, the Italian Serie A champions, have reached an agreement to sign England international center-back John Stones on a free transfer to bolster their defense.
According to Thai News Agency, renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Stones, who recently left Manchester City after his contract expired this summer, has agreed to a four-year contract at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, until the summer of 2028. He will earn 4 million pounds (approximately 152 million baht) per year.
Stones is set to travel to Milan for a medical examination soon and is expected to officially join Inter Milan by the end of this week.
