Pattani: The Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 (ISOC Region 4) investigated an incident where unknown assailants threw ping-pong bombs into a temple in Panare District, Pattani Province. Today, an unknown number of assailants threw ping-pong bombs wrapped in electrical tape into the grounds of Wat Thep Nimit, Ban Klang, Panare District, Pattani Province. Following the report, authorities quickly cordoned off the area and coordinated with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit to investigate and proceed with safety procedures.
According to Thai News Agency, initial investigations revealed that the object was a ping-pong bomb wrapped in electrical tape, used by the perpetrator to create a disturbance in the area. Initially, no injuries or serious property damage were reported. Authorities are currently gathering evidence, reviewing CCTV footage, and expanding the investigation to track down the perpetrator and bring them to justice.

It affirms that security agencies continue to integrate their operations with all sectors to fully ensure the safety of life and property of the people.
