The announcement detailed several key projects. The "Thai Helps Thai Plus 60/40" initiative has led to cumulative spending exceeding 121 billion baht, with over 1.19 million shops participating. The initiative supports local businesses and boosts the community economy. Another project, "Thai Helps Thai: Capital Increase, Half-Interest Rate," has distributed over 4,452 million baht nationwide, enabling communities to access formal capital and reduce their reliance on informal debt.
The government has also introduced a "Half-Interest Rate Co-Pay" initiative to reduce interest burdens, allowing individuals to borrow affordably for business ventures. Furthermore, a new electricity tariff structure benefits residential users, including those in rental properties, by reducing rates for the first 1-200 units to 3 baht per unit.
Extensions have been made to the State Welfare Card eligibility, now valid until September 30, 2026. This extension supports vulnerable groups, including disabled individuals, by increasing their allowance.
