Songkhla:The Ministry of Energy conducted a field visit to Songkhla Province to assess the energy readiness of the "Trans Thai-Malaysia (Thailand) (TTM) Project" in Chana District.
According to Thai News Agency, the TTM Project is part of a Thai-Malaysian energy cooperation initiative that will utilize natural gas from the Joint Development Area (JDA). This will be achieved through a pipeline system extending over 366 kilometers and a gas separation plant with a production capacity of 425 million cubic feet per day.
The project aims to transmit energy for electricity generation to support the industrial sector and cater to the needs of the public in the southern region, emphasizing the importance of energy security starting at the source.
