Hat Yai:Hotel operators in Hat Yai are preparing for an anticipated surge of tourists, including many from Malaysia, expected to visit in the last quarter of the year.
According to Thai News Agency, while the hotels are fully ready to offer services to both Thai and foreign tourists, there are lingering concerns about potential flooding reminiscent of the devastating 1968 floods that have left a lasting impact on the area.
Despite the preparations and readiness, the possibility of flooding poses a significant concern for both the hotel operators and the municipality as they plan to handle the expected influx of visitors.
