He emphasized the importance of participating positively and contributing to the success of the event for the country's benefit.
According to Thai News Agency, Ekkapop criticized the spread of fake news surrounding the IMF issue, which he claims is being used to discredit the government. He stated that IMF executives have not criticized Thailand and urged media outlets to verify information before dissemination. Ekkapop also advised the public to carefully check the information before sharing it.
He highlighted that participants of the meetings have expressed satisfaction with the organization and content of the event. Ekkapop reiterated that the event should be viewed as a national accomplishment rather than just a government or Prime Minister's achievement. He encouraged everyone to be good hosts and support the event constructively.
