Khon Kaen:Busy schedule but ready to go! Pai Pongsathorn, the beloved Luk Thung singer, played two football matches in one day, combining the merit of spending time with his mother with the responsibility of helping to build a better future for underprivileged children.
According to Thai News Agency, Phai Phongsathon returned to his hometown to fulfill his sonly duties by taking his mother, Boonthan, on a charity trip to Yasothon before heading to Khon Kaen for a charity football match. Initially planning to participate in just one game, Pai ended up playing two matches on the same day.
The opportunity arose when a younger friend invited him to the "Tumhom Ban Hao Cup 1st Edition," aimed at donating computers, school supplies, and sports equipment to children. Pai accepted the invitation enthusiastically, eager to contribute to the cause.
The day became even more eventful when another friendly football team learned of his presence in Khon Kaen and invited him to an additional match at 100 PM at Major Arena, Khon Kaen. This was followed by the Tumhom Ban Hao Cup event at 600 PM at Gift Thao Thacha Arena, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen, marking two matches in one day for the singer.
Expressing his joy, Pai Pongsathorn said, "I'm very happy. Initially, I intended to participate in the 1st Tumhom Baan Hao Cup football tournament to help donate computers, school supplies, sports equipment, and footballs to the children. But when the friendly football teams found out I was coming to Khon Kaen, they invited me to play football in the afternoon session first. So, I got to play two rounds today! I'm very happy. Also, I got to see my mother and take her to make merit. I'm very happy."
This event highlights Pai's dedication and warmth, both on stage and on the football field, as he remains a generous son of Isaan, always ready to share and provide opportunities for a better future for children.
