Government Housing Bank’s Loan Applications Reach 34 Billion Baht Under “One Home Per Person PLUS” Project

Bangkok:The Government Housing Bank (GHB) has announced that its "One Home Per Person PLUS" project has received loan application registrations totaling over 34 billion baht, significantly contributing to the government's policy to promote homeownership.

According to Thai News Agency, GHB's program has garnered significant interest, with 11,430 registrations amounting to 34,290 million baht. This represents 68% of the project's total budget of 50,000 million baht, aiming to provide accessible housing loans to low- and middle-income earners under favorable conditions.

Dr. Mahatthana Ampornphisit, Managing Director of GHB, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting government policies led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapa. The initiative aims to enable citizens to own homes with relaxed conditions and suitable interest rates, fostering economic growth through the real estate sector.

The project, which began accepting registrations on October 15th, 2026, has seen a high demand for loans, reflecting the public's interest in homeownership. The loan program offers interest rates as low as 2.60% per annum for the initial years and accommodates various income levels, with a maximum loan term of 40 years.

Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas recently presided over a meeting in Udon Thani Province to oversee the policy's implementation, demonstrating the government's commitment to ensuring the policy's success. The project not only benefits individual households but also stimulates economic activities related to construction and housing services.

Registrations are open until December 30, 2030, or until the funding limit is reached. Interested individuals can apply through GHB Buddy or at any GHB branch nationwide, with more information available via the GH BANK Call Center or social media channels.
