Thai Armed Forces Chief Asserts Myanmar Conflict Must Not Impact Thai Citizens

Bangkok:The Chief of Defence Forces has emphasized that ongoing fighting in Myanmar should not affect Thai citizens residing within Thailand's sovereign territory.

According to Thai News Agency, the Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, General Ukrit Boontanon, invited the Myanmar military attaché for discussions regarding the situation on the Thai-Myanmar border.
