Abhisit and Anucha Campaign in Phaya Thai District, Receive Warm Reception

Phaya thai: Abhisit Vejjajiva and Anucha Chakri Sirindhorn, along with the Democrat Party team, campaigned energetically in the bustling morning market area of Soi Luecha, Phaya Thai district, expressing their satisfaction with the positive reception from their supporters.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anucha Burapachaisri, the Democrat Party's candidate for Bangkok Governor, along with party leader Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, and other key party figures such as Mr. Sakoltee Phatthiyakul and Mr. Ongart Klamphaiboon, engaged with the public in support of Mr. Anuchan Kwangthong, the party's candidate for the Bangkok Metropolitan Council in Phaya Thai district. The campaign took place in Soi Phahonyothin 1, where market-goers and vendors welcomed them warmly, offering encouragement and photo opportunities.

During the campaign, Mr. Anucha interacted with residents, inquiring about their well-being and the cost of living. He highlighted the issue of numerous small alleys in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, noting that many sidewalks are under prolonged construction. He promised that, if elected, he would prioritize surveying and resolving sidewalk issues to enhance daily convenience for citizens. He also emphasized the development of public spaces in each district for communal benefit.

Reflecting on the campaign's progress after a week, Mr. Anucha noted an improvement in public recognition of his candidacy and number. Despite opinion polls indicating a challenging race, he remains confident that the dedication of his team will yield favorable results in the June 28th election.
