Anthony Hudson Announces the 23-Man Squad for Thai National Team’s Upcoming Matches


Bangkok: Anthony Hudson, the head coach of the Thai national men’s football team, has unveiled the 23-man squad for the upcoming FIFA Day warm-up match against Singapore and the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers against Sri Lanka scheduled for November 13 and 18, 2025. Hudson expressed his gratitude towards all football clubs for releasing their players for these crucial matches.



According to Thai News Agency, Hudson began his announcement by acknowledging the challenges faced over the past few weeks, stating, “It’s been a challenging time, with many changes. I felt the time was difficult to announce this list because there may be some players who haven’t made it to the camp.” He emphasized the importance of selecting players from both league and cup competitions, highlighting their vital roles in the national team.



Hudson addressed the exclusions of certain players, mentioning Suphanat Mueanta’s injury and the ongoing discussions with Buriram United regarding his future call-up. He also explained Jonathan Khemdee’s absence due to passport issues, expressing optimism about working with him again soon. Hudson highlighted the inclusion of Jude Soonsup Bell, emphasizing his technical background and experience across various age groups and nations. The coach emphasized the importance of developing a deep squad for future competitions.
