Anutin Charnvirakul Pledges Implementation of “Half-Half Plus Phase 2” if Government Retains Power

Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul has reaffirmed his commitment to implementing the "Half-Price Plus Phase 2" initiative, contingent upon his party's continued governance with full authority. He emphasized a commitment to constitutional compliance and fair governance practices.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul addressed questions concerning the potential launch of the "Half-Price Plus" Phase 2 project before any possible dissolution of parliament. He underscored the importance of maximizing the available time to implement the project. Anutin stated that should the government remain fully operational, the proposal would be advanced to the Cabinet meeting scheduled for the following week. He assured that the government would avoid any actions that might contravene the constitution. In the event of losing power or a parliamentary dissolution, Anutin noted that the government must adhere to the caretaker rules and refrain from seeking undue advantages, reiterating his dedication to fair play and equitable governance.
