Bangkok: Aran Panthumchinda has officially reported himself as a new Member of Parliament (MP) for the Chart Pattana Party, succeeding Dr. Wannarat Chananukul who resigned from her position as a party-list MP.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Aran Panthumchinda reported to the Office of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives to assume his new role. This change comes after Dr. Wannarat submitted her resignation letter on March 16, resulting in the termination of her membership in accordance with Section 101 (3) of the 2017 Constitution. Mr. Atthawich Suwannaphakdi, whose name was previously second on the party’s list, had already lost his membership, paving the way for Mr. Aran’s promotion under Section 105 (2) of the Constitution.
