Ubon ratchathani: The Chief of Staff of the Army visited the Chong An Ma – Prasat Khana area after it was deemed fully secured.
According to Thai News Agency, General Chaiyapruk Duangprapat, Chief of Staff of the Royal Thai Army and Chief of Staff of the Army Operations Center, conducted an inspection on December 26, 2025. He was accompanied by the Commander of the 2nd Army Area and Commander of the 2nd Army Area Operations Center. The visit aimed to assess the readiness of operations in the recently secured Chong An Ma, Ubon Ratchathani Province, and Prasat Khana, Surin Province.
The inspection included a review of the terrain to prepare for future tactical operations in the area. The Royal Thai Army has successfully achieved complete control over these regions. During the visit, the morale of the troops was noted to be high, with the Chief of Staff expressing gratitude for their dedication and sacrifice.
General Duangprapat also distributed supplies to further boost troop morale and inspected the weapons
and equipment seized from Cambodian soldiers. The inspection of troop deployments throughout the area highlighted the strategic importance of maintaining security and readiness in these regions.
