Bangkok: The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) is set to host a special event titled 'Thai Fruit Fair' from May 28 to 30, 2025, at the BAAC Head Office in Bangkok. This event will feature more than 50 shops offering a diverse range of premium Thai fruits and community products directly from local farmers.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Paisarn Hongthong, Deputy Managing Director of BAAC, emphasized the fair's role in promoting the consumption of Thai fruits and supporting local farmers. The event aims to provide additional channels for customers and the public to access premium agricultural products, including seasonal fruits such as durian, mango, lychee, guava, and golden bananas, all available at affordable prices.
The 'Thai Fruit Fair' will showcase top-quality fruits sourced directly from farmers, including premium-grade durians from Tong Sai Rayong in Rayong Province and W.S.C. Love Farmers in Phetchaburi Province. Additionally, visitors can enjoy products from W.S.C. Ban Dong Processed Fruits in Nakhon Nayok Province, offering a variety of dried fruit products, and fresh coconut water from Im-em Coconut Water in Samut Sakhon Province. Wasana Melon Farm in Saraburi Province will also feature melons and cantaloupes meeting FDA, GAP, and Thai GAP standards.
Beyond fruit shopping, the event offers a range of additional attractions, including delicious food from renowned shops, clothing, accessories, fashion, and herbal products for attendees to explore. Participants are encouraged to engage with the event by sharing photos on social media using the hashtag #BAACMarket. Shoppers who spend 300 baht via the Nong Hom Jang app will receive a complimentary bottle of Jeeranai brand green massage oil.
