BAAC Market ‘Regional Specialties’ Event Showcases Unique Agricultural Products

Bangkok: The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) is hosting the "Regional Specialties" event from January 28-30, 2026, at its Head Office in Bangkok. This event brings together a wide array of agricultural products, community items, and processed goods for consumers to explore and purchase.

According to Thai News Agency, the event is part of BAAC's effort to support farmer customers and over 60 community enterprise groups. These groups have the opportunity to present their agricultural products, community offerings, processed goods, local items, handmade merchandise, as well as food and beverages. The event aims to make these high-quality regional products accessible to consumers at special prices.

The market features fresh produce directly from farms, such as 100% pesticide-free vegetables from Nadee Organic Farm in Nakhon Nayok province. Health-conscious consumers can choose from a variety of fresh greens including green oak, red oak, butterhead, romaine, and curly kale. Thaveesap Farm in Chumphon province is also participating, offering seasonal fruits like durian, rambutan, salak, mangosteen, and Shogun oranges.

Visitors can also enjoy authentic local dishes like grilled seafood in banana leaf wraps from Prachuap Khiri Khan, made with select ingredients and spices. Another highlight is Muranee's authentic Muslim Halal chicken biryani from Narathiwat, known for its unique blend of spices and meticulous preparation.

Additionally, Khao Suan Kwang's grilled free-range chicken from Khon Kaen province is featured, offering a taste of Northeastern Thailand with dishes such as crispy-skinned grilled chicken, papaya salad, and grilled pork neck with spicy dipping sauce.
