According to Thai News Agency, Pinthongtha arrived at the court at 9:20 a.m., parking beside the building. Thaksin followed shortly after in his own car. At 10:00 a.m., he entered Courtroom 902, where the verdict for the day's proceedings was scheduled.
Police Colonel Marut Sudnongbua, Superintendent of the Phahonyothin Metropolitan Police Station, reported that the Criminal Court officials coordinated with local police to ensure peace and order. Both uniformed and plainclothes officers were deployed, with additional personnel working alongside court security. Despite a symbolic demonstration of support organized by Red Shirt protest leaders, no significant security concerns were noted.
Supporters, many wearing red shirts with messages and images of Thaksin, gathered in the court's parking lot, coming from Bangkok and other provinces. Court police and security personnel managed the crowd, ensuring no disruptions occurred for the public or officials at the Criminal Court.
