Bangna District Office and Srithepthai Foundation Host Event to Support Vulnerable Groups


Bangkok: Bangna District Office, in collaboration with the Sri Thep Thai Foundation, organized an event to help vulnerable groups as a royal merit-making offering to Her Majesty the Queen Mother.



According to Thai News Agency, the “Srithepthai Foundation Shares Kindness with Vulnerable Groups in Bangna District” event aimed to offer royal merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The ceremony, led by Ms. Sorasindhu Traijakrapob, Chairman of the Srithepthai Foundation, involved providing financial assistance to over 800 vulnerable individuals, including the elderly, disabled, bedridden patients, poor students, and street cleaners. Additionally, 2,000 kilograms of rice were donated to the BKK Food Bank in the district, with the total aid amounting to over 1,000,000 baht. The event, held on November 1, 2025, took place at the Bangna District Office.



Mr. Sorasin Traijakrapob, Chairman of the Srithepthai Foundation, emphasized that the foundation was established to support vulnerable groups, particularly children and the disabled, to foster equal opportunities and reduce social inequality. He highlighted that the event, in collaboration with the Bangna District Office, was dedicated to offering royal merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit in gratitude for her graciousness. The foundation’s commitment to creating a caring society was reflected in this initiative, aiming to enhance the quality of life for everyone.



Ms. Prapassorn Chamnongbut, Director of Bang Na District, praised the continuous support from the Srithepthai Foundation, noting their assistance during crises like the COVID-19 pandemic and their involvement in projects such as the BKK Food Bank. She stressed the importance of collaboration between various sectors for urban development, marking the event as another step in the partnership between the foundation and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for Bang Na residents and to maintain the area as a livable city.



In her closing remarks, Director Prapassorn expressed gratitude to the Srithepthai Foundation for their ongoing support and for organizing the “Sharing Kindness with Vulnerable Groups in Bangna District” event as a royal merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. She also acknowledged the participation of everyone involved in the event.
